Smart and clean space, Michael was very helpful with parking and luggage on arrival. On a hill above the main town with a lovely view over the valley to the sea. Breakfast of croissants, breads, preserves and cereals was made with quality produce.

Éric Et Michael sont deux hôtes charmants et disponibles. Le cottage est un endroit parfait pour passer quelques jours seul ou à deux. À 10mn a pied de la vielle ville de grasse, la petite terrasse donne une vue superbe avec une grosse visibilité sur Antibes et les villages alentours. Le lieu est très agreable, Le petit dejeuner très bien servi, bref, c'est un endroit très agréable, calme, fleuri et cosi. Nous recommandons !!! If you're after a truly authentic French experience, this is the place for you. One word to describe this cottage: charming. It's very well thought out, and although tiny, has everything you need. The bed which you need a ladder to get to was very cosy and well air conditioned for summer! We also loved the finishing touches, like an old classic iPod and iHome with great music choices such as Dire Straits, Gipsy Kings and Queen! There are a LOT of stairs to get down to the main square of Grasse but once you're down you're right in the centre of town. Stunning views and a perfect verandah to sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet and watch over this tiny little French town. Breakfast is included and it was fantastically done on a balcony with stunning view and plenty of pastries and coffee. I highly recommend staying here if you want to experience a small French town high in the mountains and don't mind a few stairs :) it was one of my favourite places we've stayed so far, it had so much character. Michael and Eric were very helpful and lovely to communicate with. Thanks for a great stay!

We would love to come back! our curtailed 3 night stay was too short, Michael made us feel super welcome right from the start, our room was beautifully appointed all details extremely well thought through, with a fabulous shower. The views from the living room and ample terrace are stunning, we spent an entire day just resting, reading and snoozing. The perfect reinvigoration ambience made it so easy to relax! With a bonus that the other guests staying were really lovely and both evenings after our return from Dinner at the “Rendez-Vous” in Grasse one of Michaels great recommendations, we returned to a welcome glass of wine, water or beer and great conversation. We at all times felt cared for in a relaxed way. Would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND as a comfortable, relaxing and totally enjoyable place.

We had a great time in Grasse and Michael and Eric were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. The Cottage was just as it looked in the photos and when the loft style sleeping arrangements didn't fully suit us, Michael immediately changed things to suit out needs. The location, looking over Grasse is spectacular and very convenient to access the town. We were very happy with the overall experience.

Our experience in Grasse was amazing. Our only regret was that we did not stay longer. Michael and Eric were very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The cottage was beautiful and charming. It was a short walk to the town center from their BnB. I would love to come back and stay at Michael and Eric's cottage. There was no point in the stay that we thought could've been better.

Our stay at Michael and Eric's place was just magic. The place is great with a fantastic view but what made it magic was our hosts Michael and Eric; every detail is taken care of to go beyond expectations. When we arrived in Grasse village, Eric guided us by phone until we reached the gate and he was there to greet and welcome us. Stepping into their home, Michael greeted us and after a few minutes we were all sitting together enjoying glasses of wine. Our hosts became our friends. Breakfast experience is not to miss as Micheal sets it so perfectly to awaken all your senses. In a few words we loved our 3 nights stay with Michael and Eric; we are taking back with us so many fond memories of shared time with great hosts who I am happy to say are now more than hosts; we made new friends whom I hope we can meet again.

Our best stay thus far. - hard to imagine a better experience - we got to cook for everyone and enjoyed ourselves tremendously with wine, food and company. Though we only spent a night, we left with 4 more new friends. Wished we had stayed longer. Would definitely recommend to stay if in the vicinity of Nice, Grasse.

We had a fantastic time staying here. From the very first minute of meeting Michael and Eric they were warm, generous, welcoming and superb company. The cottage is really cute and very well stocked - even milk and juice in the fridge when we arrived. The bed is really comfy and the view is amazing at all times of the day. Michael made us very welcome in his own home too, was very generous and we had a beautifully laid out breakfast everyday. He has an eye for detail (check out the cutlery) and is a natural born host. Bamboo and Rupert are two lovely, funny, friendly dogs who helped me miss my own dog a little less. Being positioned in Grasse was also great for those who don't mind a drive about to lots of places within reach like Nice and some of the mountain villages. Michael and Eric are two genuinely lovely guys who we are very grateful to have met and they are going on the Christmas card list! Would certainly go here again :)

One word - amazing! If you are planning to visit Grasse - don't think twice and book with Michael. Probably the best B&B experience we've had. Michael and his partner made us feel at home - their hospitality goes above and beyond. We stayed with them only for one night and we wished we would book for more. Private house that we stayed at was absolutely charming and the views were stunning. Their property is located on the top of the hill and we thought we would have to drive into the city but there's stairs right next to their house that will lead you right into the center of Grasse. There was no problem with parking either. We want to go to France again just to see them again and stay at their amazing home. Thank you so much for your hospitality! You made us feel at home!

We had a very nice stay in the cottage. Michael was very responsive and helpful. He provided us with useful information, for example, how to get fast to the city center (it is indeed just 5-10 minutes walk/stairway). As described, the apartment is on the hill and getting there by car is quite an experience :), but everything went fine in the end and the stunning view in the morning, together with the fresh croissants made by Michael, was worth it!

This was our first experience of a B&B and we chose very well indeed. Our stay in Grasse in this lovely bijou studio cottage was all we hoped for. The cottage is within a 10-15 minute walk of the historic centre of Grasse. Michael and Eric are accommodating hosts who made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. excellent continental breakfasts were provided at flexible times - sometimes on Michael’s gorgeous verandah overlooking Grasse. We enjoyed meeting the lovely dogs and cats too! We felt completely relaxed and had a wonderful time. We very much appreciated the help Michael and Eric provided to us when we had a problem with our hire car. Thanks again! Anne and Richard.Nothing you can do about this but the parking did worry us and unfortunately proved a problem in the end. A fly screen on the window above the bed would have been good so we could open at night to release the heat but not allow bugs in. Better hanging space would be good but not sure how you could achieve this but you mentioned you have plans to change the layout so you obviously know this is needed. :-) nice fridge freezer but we didn't use the freezer so wonder if you could get a smaller fridge which would release some space for something else. The microwave was too high up for us to feel we could safely use it.

We were made to feel extremely welcome in Michael and Eric's stylish villa. Staying with them was like visiting old friends. Amazing views, comfortable room, fab new bathroom, delicious breakfast.... I don't think our visit to Grasse would have been as delightful if we hadn't had their house to stay in, their advice on the area, and their generous welcome. Probably the best place in Grasse!

We had a wonderful stay with Michael and Eric in fact we had to remember to go out and see the area because it was so easy to be in their company. Michael is the perfect host! The room is excellent with your every wish catered for but if you are missing something Michael will get it for you no problem. A beautiful home in a great location.

From the 'get go', my very first correspondence with Michael was easy ... he answered all my queries promptly and informatively and with just the right amount of familiarity for me to know this person actually enjoys hosting guests. On my arrival at Grasse train station I was met by Michaels partner Eric who also made me feel welcome and very much at home. That evening I shared a meal and wine at their table. The apartment is beautifully situated on the hills overlooking Grasse and the further districts. There's a couple of sets of steps to walk into the town centre about 10minutes from the house, so nice to have exercise crossed off the list each day also. The property offers two different sites for travellers depending on what kind of experience you want. I chose to stay in the main house with Michael and Eric which was ideal for me and it was easy to share their space because of the type of people they are. Generosity and warmth are second nature to them and their menagerie of animals completes the idyllic picture perfect life they've created. During my 3 day stay two other couples rented the 'honeymooners' cottage a few steps up from the main house on a separate 'terrace' of the property with a shaded pond area, complete with turtle and fish separating it from the main house. Travellers choosing this option can have a completely independent stay there, as the cottage has its own outdoor terrace to dine on and is very cute and completely self contained, I am inspired to open my home to Bed & Breakfast travellers after spending time with Michael and Eric. I would highly recommend this property to individuals wishing to have an integrative experience with the hosts like I did, to those wishing for more independence or a little of both.

The flat is a wonderful combination of modern decor and old world charm as it is literally built into the hillside. The pictures are great and accurate, but the place is even better in person. There are no words to describe the beauty of the view - it is breathtaking! There are four outdoor spaces to enjoy it from. Michael & Eric are wonderful hosts! The entire process - from booking to check out - went very smoothly. They provided breakfast, recommendations for activities, and checked in with us via text through our stay. Michael and Eric are unbelievable. They are not only great hosts but wonderful people. After an incredibly long, five hours delayed, train journey they welcomed us with a smile and turned a bad day into a great evening. My stay at Michael's was, in all honesty, one of the best places I've stayed at my multiple visits to the French Riviera and Cannes Grasse. I would not ever hesitate to stay here again, Eric and Michael are two of the most kind, funny, enjoyable, and best Bed & Breakfast hosts that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Their private cottage is just a perfect tiny house with so much charm. I loved having to climb a ladder every single day, in all honesty, to get up to my bed. It is one of the most incredible views and they have two of the world's most adorable and loving pups as an added bonus.

Superb fun we loved staying with Micheal and Eric. Place is exactly as described with the best view and best host and lots of animals. Both put you at ease and make u feel so welcome . If i return to grasse it has to be Micheal’s house . For my daughter France is this house she still says why did we leave without meeting Eric i wanted to say bye to him too. They make u feel at home and welcome u happily. Conversations with them are fun too. Superb fun guys hope to c u soon. They are good they know what they are doing and they do it with their heart. Michael was a kind and thoughtful host from the start. Though our arrival time was delayed, he was completely accommodating and even checked in to make sure we weren't lost. The best part about our stay with Michael was that everything was up to us; stay for dinner, walk to town, wake up early, wake up late, etc. etc. etc. He and Eric are gracious hosts and provided the perfect balance of freedom and warmth. We had a very pleasant stay at Michael's and Eric's place. From the balcony, you can enjoy an amazing view over Grasse. Michael's breakfast is also worth being mentioned, especially because of fresh croissants and pain au chocolat. ;-) And for all future guests: you should definitely follow your hosts' recommendations for restaurants - we had two excellent french menues! The furry 2 dogs and a cat, were also very nice and friendly. We really had a nice stay at your place! Thank you very much for your hospitality! Kristina and Dominik

The beauty of Grasse lies before you from the terrace of this idyllic hilltop cottage. Scented flowers and herbs are everywhere. We wish we could have stayed longer just to unwind. Michael could not have been a more gracious and generous host, picking us up from the train station, and providing recommendations and directions. The old city is a short walk down a very steep hill and, if you are at all interested in perfumery, you will be in heaven. The museum is a must-see as are the various fragrance houses...Fragonard, Molinard, as well as small boutiques. All and all a delightful stay!

Nous avons passé 6 jours dans ce nid douillet perché dans les hauteurs de Grasse avec une vue superbe et à seulement 5 mn à pied du centre ville. C'est un point de départ très pratique pour découvrir la région. Le cottage est parfaitement équipé et la terrasse fleurie idéale pour les repas ou la farniente. Michael et Eric sont des hôtes très accueillants, sincères et spontanés avec qui nous avons passé d'excellents moments. Nous reviendrons !!

When you go to Grasse, this is the place to stay. We spent a night as guests of Michael and Eric and felt very warmly welcome, like old friends. These guys are excellent hosts, they picked us up from the railway station, offered us wine and a great breakfast + loads of information on what to do and where to go in Grasse. The cottage where we stayed was very clean, stylishly decorated and had all the amenities we needed. Also the view from the terrace was stunning. Unfortunately we could only stay one night, but will definitely come back. I highly recommend booking a stay in this charming cottage for anyone visiting Grasse!

Sehr freundliche und sympathische Gastgeber. Es wurde alles getan, damit wir uns wohlfühlen. Danke für das reichliche Frühstück jeden Morgen. Die Unterkunft ist genau wie auf den Fotos. Es ist alles super sauber, trotz Hund und Katz. Wohnzimmer, Küche, Terrasse und Garten, konnten wir uneingeschränkt benutzen. Sehr gemütlich!! We could not have asked for a more wonderful holiday - Michael and Eric are superb hosts. They're also great fun to be around, being the perfect combination of caring and laid back! All our needs were catered to (without being overwhelmed) - we are both cyclists and Michael went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure our bike boxes were safely transported from the airport, and our bikes stored. Their gardens are beautiful, the bedroom very well equipped and their house is impeccably designed - even the cutlery is specially chosen! We spent some lovely evenings chatting with our hosts and the other guests and they are always eager to hear about our adventures. The pets are also super charming - each with its own story - and we loved the chickens! And oh, the breakfasts! What a treat! We will recommend their place to all our friends back home! As other people have said, Michael and Eric are fun, kind, and generous. It was like staying with friends. We can't imagine having stayed anywhere else. They are very engaging and we enjoyed several evenings with them. Or, if you seek privacy, they give you all the space and comfort you desire. The cottage was clean and cozy, with the amenities you may need. The cottage is stocked with a full kitchen - appliances, cookware, etc. The view is magnificent - you can see the surrounding mountains, country, towns, and to the sea. The gardens around the cottage are beautifully landscaped with many flowers, succulents, and local greenery. We found Michael and Eric to be responsive to needs and requests, so if you need help or have a request, you need only ask. Now, here's where they really shine. Both are local residents, so they have the ins-and-outs on spots to visit, restaurants, travel routes, language, experiences, etc. So, they can really give you insight or help you with the logistics of your stay. Also, I haven't heard it mentioned in other reviews, so I thought this a powerful note - the location of the cottage, and its centrality to the town of Grasse, is a great jumping off point, for Grasse itself or other destinations. You can walk into town for lunch or dinner with short, leisurely walks. (Keep in mind that it is on an overlook so there are stairs to walk.) Or, you have quick access to the routes to take you to the surrounding towns, perfumeries, national parks and forests, beaches, mountains, gorges, skiing, etc., all in short distances. Michael was a perfect host. Really nice to us at all times and ready to help when needed. The cottage was beautiful and really well equipped with everything needed to cook, make tea, coffee, etc. It even had an ipod full of music with a good speaker system! The breakfast is really good also. Thanks Michael, we hope to come back with better weather.

Michael and Eric were nice hosts, they were really welcoming with us and we had good chats together! The house was as the pictures showed, fantastic, furnished with a lot of style and with a beautiful view from the great terrace.. The room was full of any comforts, a lot of pillows and towels too. The dogs were so lovely and also the cat! :-D Definitely I recommend that place!! Honestly I like everything about our staying in Grasse.. Only one information for you: you have to book in advance the creation of your perfume; no Denise-parfum that time! :-)

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night and could not have been more pleased! The cottage is charming, clean, and within short walking distance to the city center. Not to be forgotten is the incredible view from your private porch. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful! They had us over for a glass of wine and even helped us order food in, being my boyfriend and I aren't exactly fluent in French. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Grasse! Everything was truly wonderful!

We had a fantastic stay with Michael and Eric in their lovely villa overlooking Grasse and Cannes. Michael and Eric are marvelous hosts and after 11 months on the road using Airbnb we really felt at home. The bedroom and ensuite (as with all the house) were well fitted out and spotlessly clean. We would definitely stay again.

La mia esperienza e stata sicuramente positiva. Il cottage e molto carino e nelle sue dimensioni ridotte riesce comunque a contenete tutto il necessario e anche di più: un comodo divano in pelle con tv, lettore mp3, lettore DVD, forno elettrico e microonde, frigo con freezer...sfortunatamente in questa stagione non è stato possibile sfruttare la parte esterna dove si può cucinare e mangiare in 4 tra i profumi della vegetazione di Grasse ma questa e una buona scusa per tornare a trovare una coppia estremamente disponibile e attenta ai dettagli con una casa spettacolare e dei simpatici animali

We booked in with Michael very last minute but from the time we arrived until the day we left we felt really welcomed and our needs always met. We were invited to have drinks in the evening with Michael on the first night of our stay which continued throughout. Breakfast was a real treat each morning with Michael asking for any requests we may have. Michael is a very generous host and we would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in Grasse with a very homely feel & great guides on what to do. You know already, but the heating and also have rectangular pillows not square ones that fall off the end. The bathroom also gets wet on the floor from the shower.

It's amazing when life puts nice people in your way! Michael is one of those people you are happy to meet. Most than staying at its place is like spending nice time with good friends. The house is so nice, everything is clean and very organised and you will receive good advice about what to do in Grasse.. Breakfast was delicious and the view of the sunset is the best part of the house. As I read all you need is love and a dog! I loved the dogs in the house, they are just as great as their owners. I will definitely recommend to stay at his place. ;)

Morning coffees and breakfasts with a view made for the most amazing weekend getaway at this peaceful and beautiful little cottage. Waking up in the mornings felt like we were high up in the mountains with nobody else around. The cottage is clean and well looked after with a very comfy bed. There's no lack of love in this cottage with little touches that really make you feel welcome. Michael is superb as a host and was really great chatting to him and his partner over a couple of glasses of wine. I highly recommend this little piece of heaven in the hills.

This was our first experience of a b&b.The accommodation was as stated, very clean, warm and with all the extras one normally associates a hotel but not always provided in a bbq. However no words can really describe the fantastic views and the feeling of peace when sitting on the terrace. The only down side was that with such superb views, the property was located in high Grasse and there were a number of steep steps to get to the villa which could cause difficulties for those with mobility or cardiac problems. Sadly the weather was dreadful, so much so most of the restaurants closed. Our hosts Michael and Eric went out of their way to find somewhere for us to eat and book a taxi which took over an hour to arrange. Indeed we cannot thank them enough, they were very attentive and went the extra mile; excellent hosts.

This is the first experience with a bnb, but it will be the best experience for ever, Michael & Eric are really nice to me, I arrived late at check-in date, Eric pick us up from the train station, it was freezing cold in Grasse, when we arrived their nice villa, Michael lead us to the bedroom, the heat was been turn on, I feel so warm and I almost cry. Feels like stay at home, I will come back fr sure, my friend can't wait to live there and we will cook together!

I am going to repeat a bit what every reviewers says, but Michael & Eric are the very best possible bed & breakfast hosts! They go well above & beyond what any other b&b experience, from picking me up from the train station to finding some gluten free bread for breakfast. The house is very cozy, large bay windows as in the pictures, great kitchen where Michael serves a delicious breakfast.  The location is 10min walk up from the center of town, but you can also park near the house if you have wheels. The benefit of being a bit high up is of course gorgeous views from the deck. The room is large, airy, with an extremely comfortable bed, and your own private bathroom with shower. If you like animals, there is the added benefit of 2 friendly dogs, a cat who thinks he's a dog, 3 chickens who lay eggs (lucky me had fresh eggs in the morning), a couple birds, and who knows what addition might be in the family by the time you come:-) If you have never tried a bed & breakfast and need a place to stay in the area, don't hesitate, this is the best way to start, but prepared to be spoiled. If you are used to b&b’s, you'll know how exceptional this place is when you come. In any event, enjoy:-)

Als bnb Neulinge waren wir absolut überwältigt von dieser Unterkunft und unseren Gastgebern. Wir kamen am Abend in einem traumhaften kleinen, voll ausgesatteten und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichteten Appartement in den Bergen von Grasse an. Es lief Musik, gemütliche Lampen erhellten den Raum, das Glitzern der Städte leuchtete zu uns hinauf und wir fühlten uns sofort zuhause. Als sich am nächsten Morgen der Blick aus dem Hochbett auf eine in organge-rose getauchte Küste eröffnete, wussten wir, hier bleiben wir noch länger. Doch nur im Beisein unserer Gastgeber Michael und Eric konnte dieses heimische Gefühl entstehen. Sie begegneten uns mit Herzlichkeit, Umsorgtheit und ehrlichem Interesse für unsere Kultur. Wir saßen bei Wein, Tee und selbstgemachtem Essen (thanks, this was so tasty) und lachten über unsere deutsch-englisch-französischen Satzkreationen. Es war ein unvergesslicher Urlaub mit unvergesslichen Menschen. Fahrt hin und überzeugt euch selbst. We not often met people whose arms and hearts were so wide open. There's nothing more to say! Michael and Eric have a wonderful apartment with an impressive view on Grasse! You will have not only a fantastic room with a huge private bathroom but they are perfect host that will do everything to make you feeling at home! They waited for us for a very nice welcome aperitif, we had a great talk getting to know each other (it felt how if we were friends from ages!)..they suggested us a very nice restaurant and once we went back home we ended up our night chatting and drinking a very nice verveine tisana (that I got as present!).. Me and my boyfriend, we really recommend to stay at Michael and Eric's..thank you so much guys for the perfect time we had! See you next time! Thanks again Michael!! At the first, I came just for the house but finally it's the people who impressed me most. Everything's well prepared and done with a good taste, like the decorations showed in every detail, the food, the amenities... It is so nice to know and talk with persons like Michael and Eric. They invited me for dinner which is with little Chinese touch and Eric drive me to the train station the day when I'm leaving. I have to say that was a very pleasant stay. Maybe I said too much nice words but I have to tell the truth.

By driving it seemed to be a long way from Grasse to the place, but by foot it only took us 10-15 mins (with a stroller) to get to the town centre. The view from the balcony is stunning, where we are able to see the town and the sea. The room is clean and tidy, and the bathroom is spacy. Michael gave us a warm welcome, offering drinks and snack when we arrived. He also prepared lovely breakfast which we enjoyed very much. Thank you!

Michael and Eric are wonderful hosts! Michael was so kind to offer me a pick up and drop off to the bus station. You can see the best view of Grasse from their balcony! The room is very new with a big shower room. I had a good chat with Michael and Eric after dinner. They are very well prepared for their guest with maps, restaurants guides, a hair dryer and a hair straightner for lady! If u arrive from the Nice airport, you can take bus 500 and get off from the final stop.I highly recommended their house and I am sure you will enjoy your stay with Michael and Eric. Michael, I really enjoyed the stay at your house though it was a short stay, If you have any plan to visit Hong Kong, please feel free to drop me a line. I’m more than happy to take you to a nice dim sum restaurant.

What a special experience. Michael and Eric are two of the kindest and most generous people I have ever encountered, and their enthusiasm for providing the true bed & breakfast experience speaks through every detail of their hosting. From the elegant decor of the villa to the professional layout of information on activities in Grasse, I was impressed at every moment of my (alas, too short) visit. And the BREAKFASTS! What better way to start the day than by enjoying a fresh-out-of-the-oven croissant and coffee while looking out across the villa's spectacular view of the Riviera mountains. If you are travelling through Grasse, this is the way to go. Great location, great travel style, and more importantly, GREAT company. I left Michael and Eric's place knowing I had made two very wonderful friends, and I already can't wait to be back. Quite simply my best b&b experience to date. Your breakfasts were presented so beautifully that I couldn't stop taking pictures of them! It was a first BnB experience and it was so wonderful! Michael and Eric are very nice and kind and their house is beautiful and immaculate. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is huge, and the breakfast that Michael put together was exquisite. You can walk into town easily in 5 minutes to eat out or shop, a bit more time to walk back as it is uphill. The parking is street side on a bit of a steep hill but we had no problem. Thank you Michael and Eric for such a treat.

How to review such an experience? Every recollection of our one night stay with Michel and his partner brings nothing but a big cheerful grin to our faces. Luckily, somehow this little oasis of excellent sense of humour, affirmation of life and people came to be in the south of France. Some people were born to do what they do-such were our fantastic hosts. If the destination doesn’t matter as much as the journey to anyone who reads this note, like it didn’t to us, find your way to the hills of Grasse on any voyage and you will leave a happier soul.

Die Unterkunft war noch besser als beschrieben. Das Zimmer und die ganze Villa waren sehr, sehr sauber. Wir hatten sogar unser eigenes Badezimmer ganz für uns allein. Michael war ein sehr höflicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Er hat uns mit dem Gepäck geholfen und hat sogar unser Auto für uns geparkt! Er hat uns jeden morgen frische Croissants gemacht, es gab Kaffe, frischen Orangensaft, Marmelade und Nutella, Müsli, Cornflakes und Brote. Außerdem hat er uns viele hilfreiche Tips und Infos gegeben. Wir konnten ihn jederzeit alles Fragen. Er kannte sich auch sehr gut in Nizza, Cannes und Antibes aus. Die beiden Hunde waren sehr lieb und süß. Der Panoramablick von der Terasse war einmalig. Wir haben einen sehr tollen Abend mit den beiden Gastgebern (Michael & Eric) auf dieser schönen Terasse mit einem Glas Wein verbracht. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt super gefallen! Sehr weiterzuempfehlen!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Michael, qui nous a accueilli chaleureusement dans sa superbe maison sur les hauteurs de Grasse. Nous sommes ravis d'avoir fait connaissance et d'avoir échangé avec ce voyageur au grand coeur, qui connaît également très bien la région et ses attraits. Le cottage dans lequel nous étions installés est tout confort avec une petite terrasse privée. Les escaliers qui partent de la maison descendent directement vers le centre-ville de Grasse. Idéal donc - pour de bons marcheurs - car une telle vue se mérite ;). Merci de tout coeur à Michael et la maisonnée pour cette rencontre riche et conviviale! Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit pour le lieu et ses habitants. Merci pour tout Michael! C'était vraiment une superbe soirée à tous les niveaux! What a wonderful place this is! We had a great time in this heaven-like corner of the world. Michael and Eric are great hosts. We felt looked after right from the start. La résidence est très agréable avec un superbe vue sur Grasse et ses plus, il n'est pas nécessaire d'utiliser sa voiture pour visiter Grasse. Merci Michael.

August 2014 Shelby We went into this listing quite blindly before there were indoor photos or any reviews, and were absolutely blown away. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The cottage itself was exactly what we were looking for--something authentic that made us feel relaxed and "on vacation". Small and cosy, it's light-filled and much more charming than the photos reveal. It's worth noting that the bed is super comfortable and the ladder really wasn't a burden to us. The terrace is heaven. We had our morning coffee and all meals overlooking Grasse and the coast. Really couldn't get enough of the view. The town of Grasse was actually a highlight of our trip along the coast. Gorgeous old stone buildings are painted in pastels, and it feels French and a bit Caribbean all at once. It's great for exploring, or just enjoying some good savoury pastries under a covered patio. You really couldn't ask for a better host than Michael. He went above and beyond to the point where we felt spoiled, making the stay much more like an actual b&b rather than just a rental. Him and his lovely partner live on the property just a few sets of steps down the hill and are ready to offer knowledgable suggestions of what to do in Grasse or around the coast (we experienced an adventure of a lifetime driving through the Gorges du Verdon as a result!) He gave us our privacy but ultimately opened up his home to us--we ended up sharing some wine and a few meals together around his dining table, the first cooked by him and the second by a sweet guest from Taiwan. He had stocked our kitchen with coffee and breakfast supplies, but in the morning he still brought us fresh croissants and pain au chocolat anyway. Even if he hadn't been this generous, we'd still leave having got to know someone kind-hearted, hilarious, with loads of interesting stories. We can't say enough thank yous! If you're looking for a relaxing and picturesque getaway, definitely stay in Grasse with Michael and Eric!

Michael and Eric have been really nice with me and Giulia. I can say we felt at home but on vacation :) the loft is so beautiful, all was clean and confortable. They also helped us with the restaurant and we had a really good breakfast, playing with Rupert and Bamboo, two soft and nice little dogs :) wonderful sightseeing from their terrace, I cannot suggest anything more, all was perfect! The staying in this home was a great experience. Michael’s quick response made it possible to book on the day we arrived. The room and view are as amazing as shown in the pictures, in good location and Michael is a great host; Croissant and coffee stood ready every morning and typical english humor made for a relaxed evening on the balcony.
